And so the time has come

Can't believe after excessive planning for 6 years in my head and some sloppy planning for the last 6 months, I'm finally getting myself to Europe. That's right kids!!! EUROPE!!!!!!
Ok ok, you may say, people go to Europe all the time blah blah blah. But hey! Shut the F%@k up you! Have you been?!?? uh? uh? uh??

Anyways, now my flight to London en route Seoul leaves in 11 hours, and I've yet to pack. But dun worry, it will be done. Just like everything about organising this trip, when it needs to be done, it shall be done (mostly thanks to Jane's exceptional organisational skills - not being sarcastic here)

Oh yea, I'll be touring Europe with Jane, my best buddy (one of them anyways, so my other best buds, no need to be jealous). She's in England already so I'll be meeting her at Heathrow. Hmmm... that just reminded me of the scene from Love Actually... nice

Ok, back to my excitement. I was pretty stressed, about a lot of things. It's not like I haven't been travelling before. But I just feel like Europe is too ..... clever for me. But, luckily, Alexis came by last night and answered a lot of my (stupid) questions and that has calmed me down a lot more. Her being the season traveller who has been to most European countries, basically just told me "I'll be fine". And I believe her =) Thanks Lex

Now it's really time to pack.

(How does one end a post like this one?)

In the lead up to Easter

We often forget what Easter is all about. No, it's not about chocolates.
Yes I'm guilty of not being a good Catholic, but.... nah, no point making an excuse cos I'm sure God would just see right thru that...

anyways, back on the less religious plain.
Usually in the lead up to Easter, I would really be looking forward to the long weekend- no work, no class etc. This year however, I have something much bigger looming after Easter. On Thursday the 31st, I'll be setting sail for a land far far away- England!!! The weather there is so opposite to here that it might as well be "a galaxy far far away".

It's hard to get excited about the Easter weekend when I'm about to leave for Europe for a month. But I'm trying. Thats why I'm organising something for the weekend:
Friday- Jennifer's farewell. This clean freak of a girl is leaving Aus forever!!! (what was she thinking I don't know) she is going back to Taiwan and hope to crack into the entertainment industry. I secretly think that it's cos she wants a larger variety of Taiwanese guys than whats on offer here! But, good luck to her, on both fronts!!

Saturday- I'm going to a BBQ at Alexis's place, who just came back from Switzerland. She's only here for like a week, but it'll be great to see her since I won't be able to catch up with her while I'm in Europe due to time and budget constraints.

Sunday- Dinner with the same ppl from Friday, but this time it's Suse's farewell. My girl is going to Japan for 6-12 months, leaving sometime next month. But seeing that I won't be around then, I had to see her off properly

So thats the general plan for the long weekend. It's gonna be big, and ..... blurry- I hope!!!

Me the slacker

Yea yea I know people, I know I haven't posted for a long time. The reason being, I just have nothing to say (yea, it's hard to believe ey?).
Work has suddnely got busy the last two weeks and it's really consuming my energy. And, much to my disgust, all I can think about most of the time is work related stuff.
So there, that's why I haven't posted, cos i refuse to talk about work on my blog. REFUSE

So what's happening lately.... nothing much, hanging out with mates, drinking "occasionally" etc. same old
went bowling last night. it was quite fun. haven't been for a coupla years, i quite like it.
i think my like for bowling has crowded my judgement and i can't tell whether it's dorky to enjoy bowling.... hmmm....
i'm open to opinions, let me know what you think

after bowling, we had one drink at Eastwood Hotel before we got so excited talking about having midnight snack that we stopped drinking and drove to Hurstville to eat!! very impulsive, and very worth it. The oyster, the scampi, and other things too.... yum!!!

on a sadder note, my friend celina is leaving tomorrow to go back to HK for like 3 months >_<>
well, we are going out tonight, to give her a good send off so she knows what she's got here in Aust, to keep fresh us on her mind so when the time comes for her to come back, she will make the right decision and come back!!!!

Cheers to you hun

and on a completed unrelated and random note, I just said a silly, but funny thing to my sis. "Lunch tonight"
I meant, Lunch Today by Sanitarium, it's pasta sealed in foil which is ready made and all you have to do is heat it up in the microwave and its quite nice.
