dum dum da dum, dum dum da dum

Wow I’m married. So obviously, the typical question I got this week is, “how is it being married?”

Well, on the one hand, its great to have all that wedding stuff behind me. It turned out to be a great wedding, if I do say so myself. But that’s hardly credit to me or my husband (yep, I still giggle a bit when I say this word), its credit to our family and friends who were there. And also those who couldn’t make it who sent their well wishes. It was a great day cos people all seem to have enjoyed themselves, especially my family and my friends who came all the way from Australia, HK, Toronto etc.
Even though some things didn’t go according to plan, I couldn’t cared less on the day. I think that’s also the ingredient to a great wedding day. I didn’t think I’d be able to enjoy myself cos I’d be too stressed or something. But my instinct kicked in on the day and I just forgot all the petty things that I was suppose to care about and just had fun! Now that, is credit to me. hehehe

On the other hand, it’s a little bit of an empty feeling that I have nothing to do now. No more wedding stuff. I think that’s not so much me missing the wedding stuff, but just me being bored and jobless.

On another hand, married life is pretty much the same as living-together life. So there isn’t that much I need to adjust to, which is good.

On another hand also, we still h
ave visitors staying with us, so it’s still a “high” time. Not boring, so no over-thinking things which is good
Tentatively planning for the honeymoon now – Hawaii and Sydney in December. Handed in the paperwork required for me to leave this c
ountry (and be allowed back in) last week so hoping for the best with that. Otherwise, might need to find somewhere else to go on the honeymoon. And not to mention to great disappointment to my parents cos they are planning to have a dinner thing for all the family and relatives who couldn’t make it to New York for the wedding
