Sweet Home Ala... Sydney!!!!

finally back home now. so happy to be here

went to wagga for dom and afton's wedding last weekend. it was terrific. everything was perfect and i had a lot of fun. congratulations to the happy couple

back in sydney and just chilling with friends and family. went to the beach yesterday. i forget how beautiful sydney beaches are. got myself a little bit tanned, but would love to tan more. since i'm sure once i go back to ny, the cold will zap away my tan in like 2 wks!!

where for art thou my friends

well in honour of my friend amanda, i thought i'd write a little something something, even though i dun got much to say....

talking to amanda on msn just reminded me even more of how much i miss my friends in sydney. and how much i can't wait to go back to see them. although its less than 2 wks before i get to see them, it feels like a long time cos this week here is not looking great. its gonna be super cold, and a bit busy trying to get a few things done before we leave.

i've found lately that its really getting to me how much i miss my friends and how sad i am that i dun really have any friends here in NY. i've always been lucky enough to have friends to hang out with when i want, and quiet time when i want, it was a good balance. now its really all just quiet time, and it sucks. dont get me wrong, my hubby is great, but a girl really do need her girlfriends...

well as i brace myself for the next few extremely cold days, hopefully my spirits will lift a bit in anticipation of my return home trip

happy new year

its a couple days into the new year and this time, i've decided to be realistic and not set any new years resolutions. its always failed before so i figured, if i dont set any, i can't fail!! yes thats right, i'm aiming low this year =)

its been fun the last couple weeks, going on vacation (although i technically have been on vacation for the last 9 months!) out west, hanging with friends and family, seeing new babies - 3 new babies in the last 2 months! almost makes me wanna have a kid now. but then they start crying, spitting up, and producing me nasty poop, that sorta stop the baby craving!

not much else happening... been meaning to update my resume so i can start looking for jobs, but of cos i've been too lazy. just looking forward to going back to sydney at the end of the month for 2 wks.
